1. Liability Disclaimer

Shopif-AI automates the extraction and formatting of product data from PDF files using AI. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated output may be incomplete, incorrect, or require adjustment.

You are responsible for reviewing all extracted product data — including names, descriptions, prices, variants, images, and SEO copy — before publishing to your Shopify store.

Shopif-AI is not liable for:

  • Inaccurate or incomplete product listings published to your store
  • Incorrect pricing or variant information
  • AI-generated SEO or marketing copy that does not meet your requirements
  • Any downstream business consequences arising from published products

The app is provided "as is." We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of AI-extracted data or the fitness of the app for any particular purpose.

2. Content Authorization

Only upload catalogs for products you own or have explicit authorization to list.

By uploading a catalog, you confirm that you have the appropriate rights and permissions to reproduce and use all product information, images, and other content contained in the uploaded file. Uploading content you are not authorized to use may violate copyright law and Shopify's Partner Program Agreement.

Shopif-AI is a tool for processing content you supply. We are not responsible for content uploaded by merchants and make no representations about the ownership or licensing of uploaded materials. Responsibility for ensuring you have the right to use uploaded content rests entirely with you.

3. Data & Privacy

What we collect from merchants

When you install and use Shopif-AI, we store:

  • Your Shopify store domain — to identify your installation
  • Shopify OAuth tokens — to publish products to your store on your behalf
  • API keys you choose to provide (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) — only if you use the Pro plan
  • Product data extracted from your uploaded catalogs — stored until you delete it or uninstall the app
  • Your uploaded PDF files — stored during processing and review; deleted on uninstall

How it's secured

All OAuth tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. Files are stored in isolated, per-store storage with no cross-store access.

What we do not collect

Shopif-AI does not collect or store any data about your store's customers — no names, email addresses, postal addresses, purchase history, behavioral data, or any other personal information belonging to the people who shop at your store.

Data deletion

Your working data and credentials are deleted when you uninstall the app. We may retain limited account records necessary to maintain service integrity. You may also request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

GDPR

Shopif-AI implements all Shopify-required GDPR webhooks. If you are a Shopify store owner in the EU or EEA, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, or erasure by contacting us at [email protected].

This website

shopif-ai.com uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous traffic statistics (pages visited, approximate location by country, device type). No personal information is collected by this website itself. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Terms Updates

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of Shopif-AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date of last update is shown at the top of this page.
